Republic Polytechnic's Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach provided Michelle with numerous opportunities to tackle real-world industry challenges. Through hands-on projects, she worked on designing digital solutions, analyzing complex data sets, and creating user-friendly interfaces.

These experiences honed her ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations, a skill that proved invaluable during her internship and subsequent full-time role.

During her internship as a QA Automation Engineer at OCBC, Michelle applied her skills to tasks such as creating automated test scripts using Tosca, performing data validations, and developing dashboards for system monitoring.

These projects not only strengthened her technical expertise but also exposed her to the fast-paced demands of the industry. The challenges of meeting tight deadlines, resolving technical issues, and adapting to new tools and processes helped Michelle develop resilience and adaptability—qualities essential for thriving in the workforce.

Her dedication and exceptional performance during the internship impressed her supervisors, leading to a full-time job offer as a Software Testing Analyst at OCBC at the end of her internship.
